Team Building Testimonials

“My staff have been able to relate their experiences with you to their day to day work which has contributed to a much improved respect for and understanding of each other. Moreover, our sick leave has dropped more than 60% in the first 10 months of working with you - thanks, Sandi – we look forward to continuing to work with you in the future.”

Steve Van Orsouw, Manager Parks & Gardens, City of Ballarat, Victoria

“Sandi, thank you for a great session – you really hit the nail on the head with my team. You quickly and easily opened up the space and helped people feel relaxed and comfortable – no mean feat when there was some concern in the room regarding what the session was all about and how it would go. I was particularly pleased when one of my quietly sceptical team members remarked to me after you left, ‘That was a good idea to have Sandi in – she’s quite refreshing, isn’t she?’ It will be great to see the communication lines in our team continue to open up and be more trusting – more energy will be put into resolving issues, ultimately saving us time and stress.”

Angelica Rose - Principal, Voice & Movement

“Dear Sandi - thankyou for your recent session with us. I am totally over-awed not only at your fluid, effortless and energised presentation but also the fact that all the things you had received feedback on in your pre-program survey were so transparently included in your fantastic program. And all done without once using any of the despised terminology such as "team work". I have worked with some very good people but you were absolutely masterful. People arrived at work this morning talking about it and saying how much they had talked about it on the weekend. So thank you Sandi and I hope that we can work with you again.”

“The program was an outstanding success. Sandi, your style of facilitation and engagement is dynamic, enthusiastic and inclusive. Your high skill level and subject matter expertise were both obvious and exceptional. Furthermore, you were able to intuitively adapt and alter the program content and delivery modes to ensure individual needs were fully addressed and satisfied. Your persuasive manner won everyone over – and I look forward to further programs with you.

Vladimir Prpich, Director, Monash Residential Services, Monash University, Victoria

“The fact that we enjoyed the humour and pace of the session and that everyone was able to take something away from our time together made it a successful event for me. Your follow-up work is an excellent feature of your service and something I had not previously considered – thank you!”

Stephen Dawes, National Manager Operations Support, GE Consumer Finance Australia and New Zealand

  • In my work, I frequently speak with people who are disenchanted with their lives.

“I feel so frustrated … I’ve been doing the same thing at work for years and I just can’t seem to get ahead.”

“I feel lost. I know I am capable of doing more but have no idea how to achieve what I really want to do.”

“Maybe I’m just not meant to do anything else. I mean, who am I to want more?”

    I find this very sad.

  • Work/Life Balance doesn't exist - and while we continue to strive to achieve it, we are setting ourselves up for disappointment.

    Why?

The phrase itself suggests a couple things that are inherent in the problem:

  • Frankly, no. It's not possible - and we are causing ourselves untold frustration and disappointment while we keep trying to achieve it!

    Why do I say this?

Well, think for a minute about the phrase itself -
  • (WARNING: Your life as you know it is about to change)

“How can I handle difficult people?”

    Answer – you can’t.

“Wait – what? You mean I’m stuck with them in my life?”

Answer – it all depends on how you look at it.

  • I recently attended a three-day women’s festival that I attended for the first time in 2016. It’s never the same the second, third or umpteenth time around is it? First of all, there’s that ‘first time newness’ that we can only get once. “Wow! Look at that!” “Goodness, that’s amazing!” And so on … because we are seeing things through fresh, first-time eyes.

In our subsequent visits, while we look for that same magic, but logically know it will be different than our beloved ‘first-time’.  We then start to notice what’s not there that we liked the previous year(s), and lament “But I really liked that!”

So this year, I decided to focus instead on what was new, different and intriguing. And that’s how I came across The Release Tree.
