Personal Motivation and Inspiration
Want to fill your head (and your soul) with lots of positive information? For a wealth of good news, good stories, good actions and good people, visit www.goodthings.com

Have you ever heard of the value (to both the receiver and the giver) of Random Acts of Kindness? There’s a whole site about this, which includes free e-cards, free lesson plans for schools and a facility to set up your own Kindness web site!

The Foundation for a Better Life has a mission to “encourage adherence to a set of quality values through personal accountability and by raising the level of expectations of performance of all individuals regardless of religion or race. Through these efforts, the Foundation wants to remind individuals they are accountable and empowered with the ability to take responsibility for their lives and to promote a set of values that sees them through their failures and capitalizes on their successes.” Worth a visit.

Business Owners
The Entrepreneur Business Centre (a division of CCH) is a niche small business site specifically targeting people who are in the process of starting or developing a small business. They offer a free 7-day trial subscription to their Information Resource Centre – plus heaps of information of importance to the new or established small business owner.

Solutions for Growing Businesses can be found at www.entrepreneur.com. Covers Money and Finance, Sales and Marketing, Technology and e-Business … and much more!

Especially for Women
The Commonwealth Office of the Status of Women is a policy advisory unit. All of their work is founded on the goal of mainstreaming women's issues. This means working to ensure that a focus on women's experiences, issues or perspectives becomes everyone's business.

The Women in Small Business Information Site (WISBIS) portal set up to enable ready access to information for women small business owners/managers. This is a gateway to a wide variety of sources of information on business tools, chat groups, courses, exporting, grants, GST, industrial relations, professional organisations, management, finance, marketing, networking, occupational health and safety, quality assurance, risk analysis, self assessment skills tests, technology, tele-working, training, venture capital and women's organisations. Really helpful.

Especially for mothers! motherInc takes care of the carers. They provide fun, informative events, online information, competitions, movie screenings, networking opportunities, services and products for women - not just mothers. It’s worth checking out what they offer.

If you have an interest in your financial future, then I’d recommend a visit to www.millionairewomen.com. Millionaire Women are a network of mentors dedicated to helping other women manifest their greatest dreams and live a rich and abundant life. They offer audio programs, tele-seminars and personal mentoring for success in business and investing. You’ll find heaps of useful (and free!) articles and tips in this box of treasures!

Can you manage waking early one morning a month in order to hear fantastic speakers, network with some really wonderful women and enjoy a healthy breakfast (that you didn’t have to cook!)? Visit www.centrumevents.com.au/BBS.asp to learn more about the Businesswomen’s Breakfast Series. They meet in Melbourne, Sydney and Parramatta one morning each month.
